Play therapy with pre-school and school aged children to assist with difficulties such as:

Individual psychotherapy with adolescents, young adults and mature adults to assist with difficulties such as:

  • trauma
  • life adjustment and change
Parent-infant psychotherapy is supportive therapy that focuses on the relationship between infant and parent and uses this insight to address the immediate presenting problem in the baby or toddler.
Parental guidance and psychoeducation with parents and significant caregivers to assist them understand the various dynamics occurring within their family and children’s developmental stages. I work together with parents to devise practical, feasible and developmentally appropriate parenting approaches to assist them and their children.
Group work with children and adolescents where we explore interpersonal/friendship difficulties and conflict management. In their respective groups the children and adolescents are empowered with insight and understanding of interpersonal dynamics, which includes awareness of their needs and those of others. The participants are taught age-appropriate assertiveness skills in a practical, fun, and attainable manner.

Talks & Workshops

I enjoy engaging with children, parents and teachers in school settings. I offer individualized talks and workshops that address the particular social and emotional needs of the school. A list of upcoming and prior work at schools can be viewed on the events page.
